Delicious grilled shark tacos. Two tacos had plenty of fish on large tortillas. Got the plate special which includes rice+beans at a good price. A hole-in-the-wall place -- do not expect decor/atmosphere much past neon beer signs. Get food to go and enjoy it while strolling the marina.

Cute little place in Ventura Harbor with delicious food at a good price. I was really surprised by how great the fried shrimp and french fries were that my spouse ordered. They were so good I ended up eating a lot of them, despite my attempt to eat a healthy(er) meal of shark taco, which was quite delicious as well, and went well with the crazy shark photos on the walls.

Tacos are great, got the shark tacos very very good. Staff was great, the twins that worked there very professional

Delicious tacos and extremely reasonably priced. We stayed at the campground a mile away and this taco shop was the perfect affordable dinner before our scuba diving trip the next morning.

We LOVE coming to Baja Surf and Taco!! The food is consistently delicious and bomb! The owner remember us each time and makes the best shrimp and shark tacos on homemade tortillas!!!!

We had a shrimp and a chicken burrito. They were both very good. I ordered mine without rice, very tasty.We ate in the doggy friendly patio and watched the people walk by. My dog loves it there because of the chips on the ground.

Their salsas on the other hand, packed flavor and heatAmbiance outside was nice, minus looking at the parking lot. Very quaint place. May give them a second chance from all the reviews we saw. Maybe they just had an off day

My favorite place to eat in the harbor. Tacos, burritos, seafood, chicken, ... This place has what you might be craving. The price is reasonable and the servings are decent sized. You won't be stuffed yet you won't leave hungry. Take the family, take your friends. You will be happy.

I like that they cook your corn tortillas fresh. The fried Shark taco is BAD but the grilled Shark taco was awesome. Don't bother with their fries.

GREAT FLAVORED SOFT TORTILLA GRILLED HALIBUT TACOS, LOCATED NEXT TO THE CAROUSEL AT THE VENTURA HARBOR IN CA. TODAY WAS MY FIRST TIME THAT I ATE THERE BUT NOT MY LAST. I PLAN ON COMING BACK FOR LUNCH OR DINNER IN NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THEY OPEN FROM 11:00 AM TILL 8:00 PM. TODAY IS 6-6-2019

This is one of my favorite places for authentic Mexican food. The staff are so friendly and professional, and the food is phenomenal.

Halibut burrito was really tasty and cheap. Just wish they provided pico de gallo with the free chips.

Love this place! It's my neighborhood go-to for lunch when I'm lucky enough to get a lunch at work. Halibut burrito is the best bargain around, authentic Mexican, staff are awesome too.

Delicious fish tacos and fish and chips. The portions were generous and the batter on the fish and chips was well-seasoned. We would definitely visit again when in the area.

I bring all my visiting family & friends here and patron this amazing place at least every two weeks!Everything is made fresh, to order, so there’s always a short wait. My favorite item is the grilled shark tacos combo plate! Prices just recently increased, but not by much. They have a small dining room and even smaller patio, but it just adds to the intimate, laid-back ambience of this beachy taqueria. The location is next to a large parking lot and only a few hundred feet away from the beach. The staff is professional and courteous. Every once in a while there has been live music on the patio, too. Try them out, tell them the twins mom sent you!

This is a must-visit site when in Ventura. Best fish tacos anywhere!

Absolutely the best fish tacos anywhere, period. I've don't generally care about fish tacos one way or the other, but anytime we're in LA visiting family, we always make the drive up to get these. So yummy.

The menu looked good but we ate upstairs at Margarita Villa. Not at Baja Bay Surf &Taco. Sorry.
